Our Environmental Footprint
We’re always looking for ways to reduce our environmental footprint and just so you know what we’re up to, we’ve outlined what we already do right here. If you’ve any suggestions on how we could further our green operations we’d love to hear from you!
In an effort to save paper we switched to digital invoicing a number of years ago. Hundreds of invoices later, we’ve saved a whole load of paper from being unnecessarily printed on.
Batteries are consumables, which means they need to be replaced regularly. We see a lot of devices and so we generate a lot of waste batteries. All of our batteries get saved up and collected by a recycling company and are disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. Find out more about the recycling process here.
Our website, along with websites we create for our customers, and our other web based services all run from our London based datacenter which is powered by 100% renewable energy.
As you might imagine, we go through a lot of packaging, be it from new devices or components for upgrades. We support our local council’s recycling scheme making sure that paper and plastic is kept away from landfill.
We recycle used ink cartridges on behalf of our customers, these are often refilled to prevent excess waste or recycled if they’re at the end of their useable life. All of this also generates revenue for our chosen charity. You can find out more here.
